How About a Little "Charity" Work?

I'm so delighted to present Charity Hassel as our first July Guest Designer!
I have had the pleasure of knowing Charity through her design team work on the Card Positioning Systems Blog when I was lucky enough to sponsor them earlier this year.
Charity is one very busy lady but she took the time to use every darn scrap of the kit I sent to her!

Here's a bit more about Charity in her own words:

 1) Tell us a little about you--where did you grow up, about your family, how'd you end up where you live now, do you have a career?

I grew up in North Georgia for a while and then moved to Jacksonville when my dad got a job here.  I've lived in Louisville, KY for a while but mostly here in Jacksonville over the years.  I work as an RN in a local surgical ICU once a week.  The rest of the time I'm home with my children!

2) When and how did you get into papercrafting?

My husband had several hobbies when we were first married and I decided to get myself a new hobby as well.  I really wanted to scrapbook some pictures from college and of some travels so I picked up some scrapbooking things and that's how it began.  Card making came a year or two later!

3) What inspires you or gets your 'juices" flowing?

Cute product to work with, fun sketches.

4) What is the "down side", if any, of our hobby in your opinion? What is the best part?

Not having enough time to always create like I would like. the best-making friends throught this hobby, getting to be creative.

5) If you could go anywhere/do anything and then capture the memories, where would you go and how would you show off your memories?
I would travel with my family.  Well, my friends gave me a magnet that says "If it's not in the scrapbook it never happened" so, it would all be in a scrapbook!

Here's the little kit I sent Charity to play with:

And just look at all the darling things she made!

Seriously, she out-did herself didn't she??
You can read more about Charity's life and see her work on her blog Meaningful Menagerie

A big huge thank you to Charity for all of her time and extra effort to help share with us this month!!

This is talent-I could stare at this kit for a month and not come up with one idea remotely as awesome as these. Thank you for sharing-I will now go quietly and be depressed.
